SKRIPSI : Sterategi Membangun Personal Branding Finalis Kontes kecantikan Di Ajang Miss Teenager Jawa Barat 2023
Personal branding is a way to create a prominent and attractive image that can distinguish one individual from another. Personal branding is also a way of how we influence others in looking at ourselves, then organizing and managing the process strategically and efficiently. This research aims to find out the strategy in building personal branding by beauty contest finalists at the Miss Teenager West Java 2023 event. This research uses qualitative research methods with a descriptive study approach. The data collection techniques used are interviews to the finalists of of Miss Teenager West Java 2023, observation and documentation. The results of this study show that Miss Teenager finalists have built their personal branding that can have a positive impact on the public or the younger generation and reflect the figure of the beauty queen. The finalists of Miss Teenager West Java have a strategy to build the personal branding that Miss Teenager West Java wants the finalists to build, one of them is by prioritizing the values they have. The theory used in building personal branding was proposed by Peter Montoya where the theory uses eight aspects, namely: Aspects of specialisation, leadership, personality, difference, appearance, unity, constancy and good name. In this research, the finalists of Miss Teenager have fulfilled these eight aspects. In conclusion, the finalists of Miss Teenager West Java 2023 have built a positive and inspiring personal branding.
