The Color Purple is one of the famous novels by Alice Walker. The novel tells Celie's life as a black woman who is discriminated against by the surrounding social environment. However, he continued to struggle and in the end was able to achieve freedom. The novel is famous not only because of the name Alice Walker as its author, but also because the book has a lot of moral messages. One such message is that we respect each other and treat others without regard to race and gender. In this project, the author intends to provide a review of the strengths and weaknesses of the novel. The author tries to analyze various elements such as themes, plots, characters, points of view, and narration. The author hopes that this project can become a reference for readers before reading The Color Purple.
